Titanium Dioxide

Products

Titanium Dioxide

Rutile and anatase TiO₂ pigments for plastics, coatings, inks, paper, and nano and special applications — sulphate and chloride process grades selected for whiteness, opacity, dispersibility and weathering resistance, with a lot-level Certificate of Analysis on every shipment.

Crystal form

Rutile or anatase — which one fits?

Titanium dioxide occurs in two commercially relevant crystal forms. Rutile has a higher refractive index and markedly better UV and weathering resistance, making it the default choice for outdoor-exposed or long-term-durability applications. Anatase is softer and lower-cost, better suited to indoor or non-weathering use.

Rutile TiO₂

Higher opacity, superior weathering resistance, the broadest application range across plastics, coatings, inks and paper.

Anatase TiO₂

Sulfuric-acid-process, lower refractive index, positioned for indoor or non-weathering applications where anatase is specified.
