Grade profile
An anatase pigment with high TiO₂ content, low iron and a tightly controlled b* value. Anatase has a lower refractive index than rutile, so it hides less — but it carries a cleaner blue undertone and no rutile abrasiveness.
Where it fits
PET and fibre masterbatch, and ceramic applications. In fibre the decisive properties are low iron content and low abrasion: iron shows as discolouration after heat setting, and an abrasive pigment wears spinnerets.
Anatase or rutile?
Choose anatase where undertone and low abrasion matter more than hiding power, and rutile where opacity or exterior durability decides. Anatase is not a cheaper rutile — it is a different pigment with a different job.
