PVC Lubricants — Internal & External Systems
Lubricants control friction in two places at once: between the PVC particles themselves, and between the melt and the hot metal of the screw, barrel and die. Getting the internal / external balance right is what separates a stable line from one that plates out, burns or produces a dull surface.

Troubleshooting
How to choose
Start from the fault you are seeing on the line. Sticking at the die and dull surface point to insufficient external lubrication. Long fusion time and high torque point to insufficient internal lubrication. White deposit on the die lips is classic plate-out — usually too much external lubricant, or an incompatible combination.
